The ideal spot for your next function is here at the Sale Greyhound Club. We cater for all groups large and small accommodating between 10 and 250 people. So whether it be a training seminar for your organisation that you’ve been left to plan, a wedding to be the envy of all, or simply a private luncheon you wish to host without the hassle of catering yourself, we have the answer.

We can offer you a choice of rooms that include the Winning Post Function Room that can hold up to 170 seated guests. The Timeout Café for smaller intimate groups, up to 65 guests seated. We also offer the Champions Room for small groups and it is the ideal location for meetings and training sessions.


Catering is available for all functions big or small and can accommodate all dietary requirements. A menu for your function can be organised to the last detail. Menus and pricing are available on request.
To make your event more memorable, we offer racing guides with corporate or individual race names for events that are held on dates of race meetings, these names are also printed in the newspaper on the corresponding day and are a great keepsake for special events.

Other services and facilities provided include a PA/ portable microphone, an in-house Ipod system, DVD player, LCD Screens, overhead projector, private bar, chair lift (for upstairs function room), Maitre de to meet, greet and seat your guests, table service, licensed to 1.00am, decorations can be organised or you can do your own and a florist can be organised to cater for your floral requirements.
